-=* Quickie *=-
A quick sketch I drew and colored of Kim doing a flying kick. Woot. I'm actually very happy with this one. I find some of my better work is done spontaneously. I think I'm getting the hang of this coloring thing.

Being on deviantART is a humbling experience because it's a huge community comprised solely of artists. No matter how talented or good you might be, there's always someone lurking around there who's even more talented, more skilled, and about half your age. I never cease to be amazed by the skill some of these guys have. For me, though, it only makes me want to try even harder to improve and become better. I think joining deviantART has actually been one of the best motivators I have ever had as far as improving my own artwork goes. I think just the whole environment of being surrounded by other people who share you interest, many of whom are farther along than you are, is something everyone can benefit from, because you learn things that you otherwise couldn't from people who have already been where you are. Maybe a few months from now I'll finally actually post a page of my comic on here that I'll be happy with, that I'll really, honestly feel is good enough for public consumption.

i like la more now that i have lived there and i've been away. and it's real. i don't think you can truly appreciate a place until you've been a part of it. visiting is completely different from living it.
ooh that's sweet...
nice pic of kim...interestingly enough, that show coined one of my most favorite phrases to use: cocoa moo. as in chocolate milk. yu-meeee, i love me some cocoa moo.
