• A Heavy Heart

  

  
  

  It's no secret that I'm easily distracted. My mind is like a wide-eyed child and if left to its own devices, it will just wander off in his own direction in order to explore the world at large without any care or concern as the potential dangers or whether or not I should actually probably be somewhere else doing something else (which is often the case). My journey through life is no different. As I walk along this path I tread, I tend to wander this way and that, taking what some may consider "the long way" to get to wherever it is I'm headed. I explore as I go, wander wherever I fancy, but sometimes I can get lost and lose sight of where it was I was headed in the first place.

  
  

  We all have moments like those, where we forget who we are, who we were, and where we were headed and end up caught up in some other thing, in some other place, thinking about something besides what's important. We lose focus.

  
  

  So the picture above is dedicated to those people who have, in their own way, reminded me of who I am, who I was, and where I should be going. I'm positive they have no idea who they are, but I'm not going to name names. I guess it's just my way of saying thank you. There are many of you out there, and some of you don't even read my humble blog, but all of you can enjoy my drawing nonetheless.

  
  

  Though I've found that I'm unable to write as eloquently as I once could, I can at least still channel that energy into drawing. Maybe someday the writing bug will bite me again.
