  I saw it today. Initially, I went in with mixed expectations. For the most part, I enjoy Tim Burton's movies, but from watching the previews and listening to the reviews, I was unsure of how well this one would measure up against some of his better past efforts. I'm happy to say, though, that I left fairly satisfied, especially with the ending, which was a little less predictable than I thought it was going to be. My only minor complaint is that the musical numbers in the beginning seem a little less seamless and well integrated as the ones in the Nightmare Before Christmas, but I think that's not a reason to avoid seeing it.
